Prof. Dr. Adnan Sayar is a distinguished and highly respected thoracic surgeon, celebrated for his exceptional clinical skills and profound contributions to academic medicine. With a career spanning over three decades, he has established himself as a global authority in thoracic surgery, particularly in lung cancer treatment, minimally invasive techniques, and lung transplantation. Currently serving patients at Liv Hospital Vadistanbul, Dr. Sayar combines his extensive experience with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, world-class care.

Dr. Sayar's distinguished career is built on a solid foundation of education and training from premier institutions. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University's Faculty of Medicine in 1987. He then completed his specialization in Thoracic Surgery at the renowned Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital, where he later served as a senior surgeon and training supervisor. His pursuit of global excellence led him to advanced training at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, where he focused on lung transplantation, and to specialized training in living donor lung transplantation at Kyoto University, Japan.
