Dr. Rafiyev Farid Sakhavat oglu was born in 1981 in Baku. In 1998, after graduating from high school with honours, he entered the 1st Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of the Azerbaijan Medical University in the same year. In 2004, he graduated from that university with an honours diploma (No. 083636). During the years 2004-2006, he worked as a clinical ordinator in the 1st Department of Surgical Diseases. During 2006-2009, he worked as a post-graduate student in that department. Over the years of his work, he is the author of 21 articles, 1 invention, and 3 effective proposals. In 2007, he completed “Miniinvasive surgery” and “Laparoscopic surgery” courses at “Vivantes Humboldt Clinic” and “DrK Clinic Westend” in Germany (Berlin). Prof. He was awarded the title of “Expert of Laparoscopic Surgery” by Dr. Ernest Kraas. In 2008, he worked as a doctor-surgeon at the “Istanbul Surgical Hospital” clinic in Istanbul, Türkiye.
In 2011, he graduated from the “CICE” course in Clermont, France and was awarded the diploma of Prof. Bruhat. Among his scientific works, he was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in medical sciences on the topic “Prevention of complications of laparoscopic fundoplication” (2013).
