Participated in the "Postgraduate Transplantation Course" conducted by New York University (Appendix 3).
Presented the study titled "The Effect of Allograft Flushing with Portal Blood on the Reperfusion Syndrome and Graft Function in Clinical Transplantation" at "The American Association For The Study of Liver Diseases" Postgraduate Course and 42nd Annual Meeting held in Chicago on November 2-5. The abstract was published in Hepatology.
Presented the clinical study "Immunosuppressive Strategies for Patients Undergoing Liver Transplantation with Preoperative Renal Dysfunction" at the "Upstate New York Transplantation Meeting" held in Albany on April 30-May 1, 1992.
Presented "Increased Cytokine Levels are Detected Systemically upon Reperfusion of Hepatic Allografts" at the "Congress of the International Liver Transplantation Society" held in Minneapolis on April 29-May 2, 1992.
The experimental study "N-Acetylcysteine Increases Hepatic Glutathione Levels and Decreases Reperfusion Injury in Ischemic Porcine Livers" was accepted for poster presentation at the same meeting and selected for panel discussion.
The study "Liver Transplantation in Patients Beyond Age 60" was presented at the "XIVth International Congress of the Transplantation Society" held in Paris on August 16-21, 1992, and included in the abstract book.
The study "Liver Transplantation in Patients Beyond Age 60" was published in the February 1993 issue of Transplantation Proceedings.
