The “Bridge of Goodness” event organized by the Association for the Fight against Hunger and Education (TAMEV) was held with the participation of Sibel Tatar, the wife of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The event was attended by representatives of civil society organizations from different segments of the society, as well as TRNC Istanbul Consul General Fatma Demirel, AK Party 24th Term Deputy Türkan Dağoğlu, 24th Term Istanbul Deputy Belma Satır, TAMEV Association President Nuray Marçak, Liv Hospital Ulus General Manager Dr. Fatih Akpınar and Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul General Manager Dr. Akif Benk.
Speaking at the event, Sibel Tatar, the wife of the TRNC President, emphasized that kindness and solidarity are important in building bridges between societies. Tatar emphasized the importance of increasing such activities to expand the kindness movement.
Community Volunteer Monik İpekel said, “When the power of the state is with the civil society, it opens the door to much better works with the right people and the right projects.”
Liv Hospital Ulus General Manager Dr. Fatih Akpınar, who stated that as the Liv Hospital Family, they will continue to support all kinds of activities that will contribute to social development as well as health, said, “As Liv Hospital, we always try to be more than a hospital. We touch the lives of all segments of society with social responsibility projects. We believe that success in health services is possible not only with medical developments but also with an approach that values people.”
Liv Hospital Vadi İstanbul General Manager Dr. Akif Benk said, “We aim to reach more people with social responsibility projects and increase the spirit of cooperation and solidarity.”
TAMEV Association President Nuray Marçak said, “Today, we are building a strong bridge of solidarity and kindness between the two countries. Ms. Sibel Tatar’s work for the development of women inspires us all. We will continue our work to ensure equal opportunities in education for women and children in social responsibility projects.”
