The event opened with remarks from Prof. Dr. Kadriye Kılıçkesmez, who underlined the low representation of women in cardiology and emphasized the need for greater support and recognition. She then moderated the session “Being a Woman in the Catheterization Laboratory.

Assoc. Prof. Münevver Sarı presented key findings on the impact of interventional treatments in female patients and their outcomes.

Prof. Dr. Can Yücel Karabay stressed the importance of supporting female physicians in interventional cardiology.
