The Advanced Cardiovascular Solutions (ACS24) Symposium opened with a keynote speech by Meri İstiroti, Liv Hospital Group Coordinator and Istinye University Executive Board Member. Prof. Dr. Alp Burak Çatakoğlu highlighted their advantages in thin vessels, in-stent restenosis, and bifurcations. A live procedure demonstrated the use of FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve) to guide treatment and avoid unnecessary stenting.
- TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation): Pre-procedural planning methods were discussed in depth, with a focus on preventing complications and applying modern, minimalist valve implantation techniques step by step.
