TOETVA Hands-On Cadaveric Workshop
The Applied TOETVA Cadaveric Workshop is scheduled to take place on August 31, organized through a collaborative effort between Liv Hospital and Istinye University. This specialized seminar will focus on the “Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach” (TOETVA). The theoretical component will be hosted at the Liv Hospital Vadistanbul Seminar Hall, followed by a practical cadaveric session at the Istinye University Faculty of Medicine’s Cadaver Laboratory.
Following three highly successful preceding editions held in Izmir (Turkey), Messina (Italy), and Verona (Italy), this seminar is proudly co-organized with the European Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AECD), Istinye University, Liv Hospital, and the Education Committee of the Turkish Association of Endocrine Surgery (TECD). The comprehensive program will highlight technical advancements in TOETVA, expert tips and tricks, live cadaveric demonstrations, patient selection criteria, oncological applications, complication management, the integration of cutting-edge surgical technology, and holistic perioperative patient care.
